The Premises

York Place Surgery is home to our NHS Practice, providing general medical services to 2,000 patients in friendly comfortable purpose built premises. The building was constructed in 1990 and was renovated and doubled in size in 2008. The renovation included a lift, which makes access to the surgery easier for disabled people and mothers with babies.

Out of Hours

When the surgery is closed if you require emergency treatment please phone NHS24 free on 111. Your call will be answered by NHS24 who will take your details and give you whatever medical attention you require. They may arrange a call back for you with advice, a visit to the out of hours emergency centre or a house visit if necessary.

Repeat Prescriptions

Please allow 48 hours for repeat prescriptions. These can be collected from the surgery or you can arrange for your local chemist to collect them for you.
